The struggle of the farmer in a starving hollow world.

A small short game for Scream Secrets GameJam 2024. You play as Hlaf, an persona in a straw hat and strong need in growing wheat.

Watch over your fields, scare crows away and bake the bread to repell your hunger and to see another sun. The world around may be stale, but do not let your precious bread to be aswell.

Controls:
WASD / Arrow Keys to walk and enjoy the view.

Left Shift to walk faster if you believe time waits for no one.

Hold ESCAPE to abandon this barren island.

No settings avaliable yet, sorry :(

In this demo, simply follow instructions in top left corner by following the big screen marker. For now, that's it.

NOTE - This is kinda rushed proof of concept / showcase / criminally short demo. I do consider making the full version sometime soon to push the vision i originally had for this.
Unintentionally, the secret (jam's theme) was the full game's story all along.
Feel free to tear apart this little project :)
